How Great Thou Art

Point of Interest: This building was origionally an Army Barricks and then was bought and moved to this site and became Humphries Chicken Hatchery and now we are hatching "new life".  Now how cool is that?

Pastors of Cowboy Church

Welcome to Diamond C Cowboy Church website. We have moved into our own building at 208 Sidney St. in Maple Creek, Sask. Lynda Udal, Chris Clark, Pat Goldie,   Claire and I do most of the music for the church services but we have many guests as well.

We have a very informal service with lots of good country gosel music, the old hymns and there is lunch and a time to visit after the service.

Any time you are in our area we would love to have you join us.  The services start at 7:30 every Tuesday evening so that we don't conflict with the other churches in town.

You don't have to be a cowboy to come to Cowboy Church.

The devil doesn't mind you speaking words of faith as long as you don't take steps of faith.

Knowing what to do (knowledge), when to do it (wisdom), and how to do it (ability) is worthless without the conviction to actually do it (obedience).

If we don't turn to God in repentence, we will have to meet Him in judgement.

The world is a dangerous place to live; not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don't do anything about it. -- Albert Einstein

Covid - 19 Services

For sure, these are challenging times.  Us old folk know very little about the technowledge that goes into all the on line things other churches are able to do.  However, we figure we need a medal for our try.  We are hoping to get small encouraging clips up on the web site.  Just know you are not alone and God does have a plan.  "Lord please bless 2020 and draw us all closer to yourself giving us courage to walk where Jesus walked caring for our friends and family, as we are able.

Church Service 7:30 pm every Tuesday

Come and join us every Tuesday evening at 208 Sidney St. in Maple Creek, Saskatchewan to hear God's word and good old country gospel music.

Finding God's Love

We Can Choose To Accept God’s Love, Ignore It or Reject It

There is a lot of concern right now about the Coronavirus and how quickly it is spreading. However I feel there is something more important to be concerned about then the coronavirus and that is when we die where are we going to spend eternity. The Bible tell us in Hebrews 9:27 “And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment,” Everyone that comes into this world will one day die, it might be from cancer, I’ve been through that and I am thankful for what the medical system can do, it might be from a heart attack, and I have been through that, again I am very thankful for what the medical system can do, or we might just die of old age, and there is nothing the medical system can do about that.

John 3:16 says “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

It’s not the world that He is talking about, but God does love the world because He made it, but is the people in the world it is talking about.

In Romans 3:23 it says “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” so our sin separates us from God. Jesus, God’s son, came into this world and died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sin. “That whoever believes” tells us that we have a choice. We can either accept God’s love and forgiveness or we can ignore it or outright reject it.

The last part of the verse says “shall not perish but have eternal life” and this tells us there are two destinations when we die, “perish” is talking about eternity in hell and “eternal life” is talking about spending eternity in heaven with God.

Right now this old world is going through quite a storm, but Jesus slept during a storm and when we put our trust in Him, we can sleep to.

John 16:33 says “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
